The charts are not backing down, we could easily hit 30c next week or maybe even a little above!
Hit 24.1c at my station this afternoon and Oak Park was also at 24c and the warmest of all the Met Eireann stations.
Tomorrow will be another warm sunny day, getting up to around 25c or 26c.
A warm Saturday now as it has hit 20c already at my station and it will get up to 23c today with plenty of sunshine so don’t forget the sunscreen.
It will get warmer each day now, getting close to 30c by middle of next week.
Make the most of it but stay safe.
Best of luck to Carlow Footballers this evening as they take on Tyrone at Netwatch Cullen Park.
Please share, Carlow teenager missing, last seen near Kilkenny Hospital
His father says Damien isn’t well at the moment and is quite confused.
I’m leaving on a Jet Stream don’t know when I’ll be back again…….
The high pressure has arrived with a glorious morning and it will get up to 20c today after a low of 2.1c last night.
It will get warmer each day from today now and just for some fun post a comment with what you think will be the highest temperature at my station in Tullow next up up until Saturday.
I’ll start the ball rolling with 29.2c 😁
Also some notes on the hot weather coming, don’t leave children or pets in cars in this heat. Make sure any pets have shaded areas and water. Wear sunscreen and take extreme care near any water, if you do fall into deep water try not to panic, stay calm and shout for help.
If you do see anyone in danger in water call 999 first and then try assist but don’t put yourself in danger.
Leaving windows closed and blinds or curtains closed during the day will help keep homes cool, open windows and doors in the evening when it is cooler. Pollen levels will increase during warm weather.
So enjoy the fine weather but stay safe, I don’t want to lose any followers 😁
A nice sunset for the Summer Solstice just now over Tankardstown Tullow.
The days get shorter from here, won’t be long until the snow is back😂
I jest of course, we have a heatwave coming next week to contend with first. See my last post for the latest charts.
I’ll post updates in the coming days so make sure to check to the page even if you have liked it as Facebook like to hide them until they are out of date. Or you can select to see the page first on Facebook by Tap Follow or Following near the pages cover photo. Then Select See First.
I’ll be on Tonight Show on TV3 later tonight and on KCLR96FM KCLR Live tomorrow morning with updates.
Get the sunscreen and BBQ ready!
The latest ECMWF shows temps getting up to 24c by this Sunday and staying above that to the end of the run which is next Saturday the last day of the month with 29c!
Next week is going to be a real hot one 😅
