A high of 27.4c today with the warm settled weather mainly continuing for next week.
A warm and humid night tonight.
Tomorrow will see another warm day with temps up to 25c or 26c and some hazy sunny spells.
Tuesday will be similar, around 25c with sunny spells.
Wednesday and Thursday will be a little less warm with temps back to possibly 21c to 23c and some showers, though eastern areas like Carlow may escape those showers once again.
Friday sees temps pickup up again to above 25c and risk of showers decreasing.
The weekend is looking mainly warm and settled again but as mentioned in my earlier post until Tropical Storm or possibly Hurricane Chris decides what path he will take the weather models don’t know how to forecast beyond next week.
The latest forecast models show a large area of low pressure making it just to the West of Ireland but being held off and pushed back without really making an impact on Carlow.
The accumulated rainfall chart out to the 18th shows that while western areas may see an end to the Drought in the coming week there is little if any rain expected in Carlow.
I’ll be keeping an eye on the models over the coming days and I’ll keep you updated as always. Now to catch that red sunset 😁
