A lovely evening in Carlow after a high of 26.2c and Ernesto is a little early and further north than forecast so while he was bringing heavy rain to the Northwest we were enjoying the sunshine in the sunny southeast 😁
The band of rain as shown on the radar image is widespread across northwestern areas and is moving east to northeast so Carlow may well escape most of the heavy rainfall and it should clear by sunrise.
A warm night too, unlikely to drop below 15c in many areas.
Tomorrow will be mainly dry with just a small chance of a shower and some sunny spells may develop in the afternoon with a strong breeze.
Mild Monday and Tuesday with some showers, especially Tuesday and Wednesday night, turning a little cooler and remaining unsettled from Wednesday.
The Tullow Agricultural Show takes place outside Tullow tomorrow and it should be a great day.
