Guess who’s coming back and who is leaving?
By the end of the coming week the Jet Stream looks to be heading off on it’s holidays again with summer weather making a return!
First though we have some more heavy rain to come tonight, probably arriving around 3am to 4am in Carlow and it could drop another 10mm or more locally with risk of thunder.
The rain will clear tomorrow morning to some drizzle and mist but it should brighten up in the afternoon with just the odd shower, temps up to 20c in southwest breeze that won’t be as strong as it was today.
Some more rain tomorrow night but shouldn’t be too much in Carlow.
Monday through Wednesday then around 20c or little below and some showers but some sunny spells too, breezy all the while with southwest winds.
There is a chance or some heavier rain Wednesday night but a little uncertain yet.
It then looks very likely now to go back to settled weather from Thursday with temps back to mid twenties.
The longer range outlook looks for that settled weather to continue at least through the bank holiday and it could get warmer still but it all depends on the position of the high pressure which is unclear this far out.
More updates tomorrow.
