Photos from Carlow Weather's post Scotland recorded a new record high temperature for February today with 18.3c beating the old 17.9c record from 1897!!
Back in Carlow my station had a high of 13c which seems cool in comparison!
Another windy night ahead with strong gusts, especially strong in the Southwest where there is a Yellow weather Warning in operation.
Winds will slowly ease a little tomorrow but still a breezy day and starting off damp and dull everywhere but slowly brightening up in Eastern areas, another mild day up to 15c.
Saturday looks wet for a time between morning and afternoon but Sunday looks mainly dry.
