Sunset over the River Barrow near Carlow this evening after a high of 13.3c and while some parts of Carlow stayed dry others had heavy downpours.
It’s down to 5.3c already now and it will drop to -1c with a risk of frost and fog again tonight.
Tomorrow will be similar to today with bright sunny spells but a cool fresh Northerly breeze, risk of showers tomorrow morning and early afternoon but most of the showers later in the afternoon should stay southwest of Carlow with nice sunshine in Carlow up to around 13c.
Risk of frost and fog again tomorrow night.
Monday should be similar to Sunday also with just scattered showers but Tuesday will see a band of rain arrive from the West later in the day and some heavy falls of rain through Tuesday evening and night. Monday will have temps around 13c but Tuesday will struggle to get above 10c.
Remaining cool and unsettled for Wednesday and Thursday, some signs that it will turn a little milder for next weekend but too far out yet to call.
